This past weekend we went out to our family farm where my brother organized a pumpkin carving afternoon. This was his. It was pretty awesome.

All in all, it was super fun, didnt take very long it seemed and the results were great.

My mother and niece were over for the afternoon, so Sydney played hard. When they left, I asked her if she was tired. She said no. Dont believe everything you hear.

I wasnt feeling well today, and spent the afternoon sleeping on my couch, so imagine that I couldnt sleep very well when the time came. Anyhow, I just finished uploading some proofs for a client and was ready to turn in, but I HAD to put one from this set up. The picture speaks for itself!

Eating breakfast is tough work, need a nap after!

The sun was setting this evening as I was out to the family farm (or funny farm, based on the amount/diversity of the animals now there). My neice and I jumped in the truck and took a drive. I have always wanted to do HDR, but am quite unsure how I expect it to look.

That said, setup the tripod, remote trigger and fired. I had my lovely assistant to help push the trigger, and done. Loaded it up tonight when I got home, and I think it turned out okay. I toned it down from the typical ‘eyeballs might bleed’ mode, but overall, I think I will keep it.
