This week has been a tad hectic, 2 days in Coronach, which is not a place you want to be, one day is enough. That said, I was there for 2 days. The one thing that I enjoy about it, is the drive. I drive with my camera on my lap with my 70-300mm lens attached..I have gotten a few GREAT pictures from the road, but once you venture off the highway, you see a lot more.
I took this picture the day after I was doing a photoshoot with 2 stobes. I left the camera at -4 exposure compensation. Didnt notice that I did this until the next day. Luckily I shoot only in RAW which saved my butt.
The entire set from the last trip is here but be warned..there are only 3 pictures that made the cut.

Well today was our first ultrasound. The result….we are freaking having a baby! Kinda seems a little more real when you see it like this. We have been telling people for a couple weeks, but now we have proof (just in case no one beleives me….which is no-one).

I was on a service call to a remote location last week, and since this drive takes about 2.5 hours to drive, I generally have my camera sitting on my lap the entire time with my 300mm lens attached. Although I have a lot of pictures from previous times, I have not posted them before (I will be now though..) I figured there is no time like the present to start. So here is one of many to come…..
Super long tail to him, colours kinda stood out in the field.

Today we burry (throw out) a dear friend of mine Eggo and his brother
(also called Eggo). Alas, it was a stat holiday in Canada when these two ended up going together and suntanning. They forgot to properly time the tan, and cooked themselves to their death. They were missed for mere minutes, before replacements could be found to carry out their duty properly. These eggo’s were destine to be covered with peanut butter, but not anymore….they will be missed.

I am all for people leaving their vehicles overnight at a lounge or bar. I think its a great option, and glad some people take that option. I, for one, have taken this option…its not a big deal. Throughout the snow, this was parked overnight. I thought it was quite funny.

Waking up on Sunday morning….this is what we were presented with. It wasnt too cold, but wow was it wet coming down. I talked with my father…he has about 3.5quarters of land to finish combining….its gonna need a few days to melt and dry before he gets going again.

While this post goes without a picture…rest assured there are pictures coming. Its been a busy couple weeks with work, home and stuff. I will spare you some of the details.
First, with work, busy busy…nothing new here.
Home….uh…we have started gutting one of the bedrooms, removed the lath and plaster (yuk again) and I will commence finishing the framing this weekend hopefully if everything goes to plan. From there, I have electrical to do, not a lot, just updating, and then we are trying to line up gyproc again. I have taken some pictures, you will be able to see the progress soon, when I have time.
Till then, hang tight, stay warm (frick im cold and there isnt even snow)
