Well it finally seems like summer with the air conditioner on and the longer days. We took advantage of the long weekend weather to get a pool and make good use of it in the shade.

One word: awesome!

We clean Sydney’s room daily, mostly to pick up the abundance of animals and dolls around her bed. We are sure Sydney likes to think of it as a game. And her pose suggests she won this round

Good morning to you..

Just a quick post to let you all know that this morning, Jamie, Sydney and I would like to welcome into our family the newest addition. Allie Rhea Lainton was born this morning at 4:31AM, and came in weighing 9pounds, 1ounce. Ton of pictures….soon

Toque, no pants

Since the weather has finally (I am okay with it) turned cold, trying to get Sydney to put a toque and gloves on has been a challenge. We found out the only way she will put her toque on, is to keep her pants off. Not exactly a solution, but we are working on it.

Just a quick shot of Sydney playing on her slide she received from her uncle Robbie for her birthday. We have since moved it outside, but she she figured she didn’t need us to help her up the stairs, most of my hair went grey.
